Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is offered to qualifying professionals and Master's level clinical students. Shannon is an approved supervisor with CRPO (the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) and CAMFT (the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapists). She offers Systemically focused supervision and welcomes opportunities to supervise clinicians working with individuals, couples and families.

Individual Supervision

In an individualized context I aim to assist supervisees to meet the competency requirements for your chosen credential and then to broaden your scope of practice to include areas of further interest to you (and which fit under the purview of my areas of competence). I work collaboratively, and actively aim to create a safe environment for supervisees to explore their growing edges.

Dyadic Supervision

In dyadic supervision we work in a team of 3 (myself and two supervisees) to create a collaborative learning environment that encourages building clinical competence through discussing your own cases, as well as taking a new observational stance of observing/learning from colleagues experiences. We continue to work with all of the foundations from individual supervision in mind, with more of a collaborative discussion with a colleague. Dyadic supervision is typically bi-weekly and we meet for 90 minutes (each supervisee pays for half of the time which also makes this option more financially reasonable).

Group supervision

A wonderful option to achieve the required number of hours of supervision for registration, and a great opportunity to learn from and along-side colleagues. These 2-hour groups include up to 6 participants to ensure that all attendees will have sufficient time to explore the clinically relevant information and make most effective use of the supervision experience.

Next group will begin September 2024 - please reach out to save your spot!
